(2B) 2ND Jose Lopez (2B)
(3B) 3RD Chris Davis (3B)

This is my mock:

(C) Jarrod Saltalamacchia (C, 1B)
(C) Gerald Laird (C)
(1B) Ryan Howard (1B)
(2B) Howie Kendrick (2B)
(3B) Chipper Jones (3B)
(SS) Jhonny Peralta (SS)
(OF) Carlos Beltran (OF)
(OF) Matt Kemp (OF)
(OF) Johnny Damon (OF, DH)
(OF) Milton Bradley (OF)
(OF) Justin Upton (OF)
(UT) Josh Willingham (OF)
(CI) Alex Gordon (3B, 1B)
(MI) Blake DeWitt (3B, 2B)
(SP) Chad Billingsley (SP)
(SP) Roy Oswalt (SP)
(SP) Zack Greinke (SP)
(SP) Gil Meche (SP)
(SP) Chris Volstad (SP)
(RP) Joakim Soria (RP)
(RP) Brandon Lyon (RP)
(RP) Chris Perez (RP)
(BN) Adam Lind (OF)
(BN) Josh Fields (3B, OF)

There's a few perennial DL stint-type guys here, but like Grey said in reference to Chipper earlier this week, getting 120-30 good games out of Chipper and supplementing those stats with a hot hand is better than waiting for Alex Gordon to come around all season (see: CI slot; uh-oh). Silent H in round 6 is my biggest regret about this mock; however, the only other player drafted later in that round that I would want is James Shields, and I thought he was a bit of a reach when I was drafting. Wasn't crazy about Dye, Beckett, Matuzaka, Cliff Lee, Tulo, or Furcal in round 6, so I took the risk on Jhonny boy.

(C) Matt Wieters
(C) J.R. Towles
(1B) Mark Teixeira
(2B) Dan Uggla
(3B) Edwin Encarnacion
(SS) Troy Tulowitzki
(OF) Matt Holliday
(OF) B.J. Upton
(OF) Adam Dunn
(OF) Hideki Matsui
(OF) David DeJesus
(UT) Travis Hafner
(CI) Chone Figgins
(MI) Emmanuel Burriss
(SP) John Lackey
(SP) Adam Wainwright
(SP) Matt Cain
(SP) Javier Vazquez
(SP) Brandon Morrow
(RP) Grant Balfour
(RP) Anthony Reyes
(P) Paul Maholm
(BN) Travis Snider
(BN) Max Ramirez

Um, this draft was very odd. There never seemed to be a rhythm to the time in between picks, and as such I ended up auto-drafting sever of these players with a queue which is never ideal. As such I ended up with some "interesting" late round auto picks (see: JR Towles rd 23 and Max Ramirez rd 24). All in all I rate it a meh.

Alright, I'm finally done drafting.

11.154 C Kelly Shoppach (C)
16.211 C Dioner Navarro (C)
5.70 1ST Derrek Lee (1B)
8.99 2ND Mark DeRosa (3B, 2B, OF)
6.71 3RD Garrett Atkins (3B, 1B)
1.14 SS Jimmy Rollins (SS)
2.15 OF Manny Ramirez (OF)
3.42 OF Magglio Ordonez (OF)
9.126 OF Pat Burrell (OF)
14.183 OF J.D. Drew (OF)
21.294 OF Ryan Spilborghs (OF)
13.182 UTILITY Jim Thome (DH)
17.238 CI Melvin Mora (3B)
15.210 MI Clint Barmes (SS, 2B)
4.43 SP Roy Halladay (SP)
7.98 SP Ervin Santana (SP)
10.127 SP David Price (SP, RP)
12.155 SP Ryan Dempster (SP)
19.266 SP Dustin McGowan (SP)
18.239 RP Trevor Hoffman (RP)
20.267 RP Kevin Gregg (RP)
22.295 P Tyler Walker (RP)
23.322 BENCH Mike Fontenot (2B)
24.323 BENCH Jamie Moyer (SP)
You drafted well besides the 2nd and 3rd round picks, some of your pitching staff may have issues and you have very little speed. As Wainwright showed last year, relievers are solid the year they become starters, but then it catches up to them the following year. Dempster's going to be corrected this year. McGowan could be great, but he's going to miss some time and Moyer is droppable. But overall I like your team, because pitching and speed can be fixed, assuming this wasn't a mock team.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Like you said, you you're light on power, which isn't a great place to be and it's obviously much easier when you mock draft and don't take the proper amount of closers, but other than that I like some of the wild cards you drew -- Scherzer, Carmona, Crawford, VMart and Chris Davis. I'd say at least one of these is not going to pan out and Sheets won't either. So that leaves you with some holes, but overall it's workable. I'd probably tell you to trade Dice-K before the season starts. Oh, and I like Carmona more going into this year than last.

This is my mock:

(C) Jarrod Saltalamacchia (C, 1B)
(C) Gerald Laird (C)
(1B) Ryan Howard (1B)
(2B) Howie Kendrick (2B)
(3B) Chipper Jones (3B)

(SP) Chad Billingsley (SP)
(SP) Roy Oswalt (SP)
(SP) Zack Greinke (SP)
(SP) Gil Meche (SP)
(SP) Chris Volstad (SP)
(RP) Joakim Soria (RP)
(RP) Brandon Lyon (RP)
(RP) Chris Perez (RP)
(BN) Adam Lind (OF)
(BN) Josh Fields (3B, OF)
The Chipper DL thing only works if you only have one or two guys at the most on your DL. You don't have room to have Kendrick, Chipper and Bradley all on the DL at once while still having room for a freak injury. What happens if Oswalt goes down for a month and you have Chipper, Kendrick and Bradley? You're kinda shizz out of luck. Also, you have two starters and Meche, Greinke, Volstad, this I'm not as concerned about, because of waiver pickups on starters would probably do you fine, but it's not a strong staff. In fairness, I do like a bunch of your hitters (Howard, Upton, Gordon, Lind, Kemp, Peralta and Beltran) and I like your closers.

I like your starters a lot. I think it's a top starting staff, but it helps when you don't draft any closers. That's a fixable problem but you would've been better off grabbing some closers rather than these random bench guys, Reyes and Maholm you drafted. BTW, Maholm? Seriously? You had a chance for a great team, but you dropped the ball. And your hitters have several big holes. So I'll see your meh and raise you a bleh.

As Crocodile Dundee would say, that's not an offense, this is an offense. Wow, way to bend over your leaguemates and grab all the top hitters. Unfortunately, you went after hitters a little too voraciously (<--Adverb of the Day!) I really like Gallardo, Wandy and Slowey to an extent but they still have question marks. With the proper waiver wire moves and starter pickups, I do think you can be a top three team, but you haven't quite drafted one. It's close though and I like it. Well played.
