Be nice to get someone that is a solid producer rather than a bit of a risky upside pick like you've taken so far
If I was to use Point Shares to try and find this guy, I'm essentially looking for the next available player with the best point splits across the five categories, correct?

I'd say you're looking for someone like Raul Ibanez or Dye. Solid producers that do the same thing every year. Not much upside, but very little downside, as well.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Ha! Ibanez is the next guy in line according to Point Shares. Doubt he'll get back to me though. The computer seems to be picking from the rankings for the guy just ahead of me.

And Dye is all snuggled up with Hippo.

Doesn't look like he'll make it back either.

I need to check these things before running off to Point shares.

Ah well.

Commenters Draft about to kick off BTW.

Well, what do you know? Ibanez made it back.

Was going to take a closer in the 10th, but after the way closers fell in the Commenters' Draft, I'm going to wait a bit.

Looking at a second starter to back up Shields.

Garza or Felix? Two Tampa pitchers wouldn't be right, would it?

We're into the 12th, so why not another update? Results so far below. There is a LOT of pitching left on the board. Remember of course that No Way Jose has been drafting as if he has his studly auction keeper staff already in the bank, and there's another guy who hasn't drafted any yet.

I've probably taken more pitching than I have to this point in previous mocks, but feel like I've got decent value for all that. After Grey's suggestion that I needed a bit more reliability I was happy to get Ibanez as he was probably the best-balanced option left. 3B-wise I'm sweating a bit on Grey's sleeper crush making it back to me.

Think Hippo has probably shored up his average and it will be interesting to see what he does for closers.
I don't like the Holliday pick, but other than that I think you two guys are doing well. I LOVE the Fielder pick and LOVE the Quentin and Kemp picks. Very nice.
And, having read the latest blog post, if I look at me team with Beltran taken instead of Holliday, I like it even more.

Steve -- Your team is coming together real nicely. I'd keep in mind that you may only win 20 games between all three of those starters.

Hippo -- When you find yourself grabbing Xavier Nady before your first pitcher, it's probably time to grab an arm.

Will be interesting to see what kinda staff Hippo comes up with after punting pitching for so long.

Felt like I had to take Nady there to shore up avg. Have a bunch of arms q'd up but 3 of them just got swiped. Cain (bite me Steve) Nolasco and Sheets. I chose Wainwright and now have to go for either Danks or Floyd.
