DO I accept this trade? Please help

I was offered Strasburg for Elvis andrus. I have Starlin Castro on my bench. It is a 14 team keeper league. SHould I accept or decline this offeR???

I tend to think it's a bit risky at this juncture. In my league, Andrus is the 3rd best SS in terms of production on the season. Would he do Starlin Castro for Strasburg? It also depends on how bad you need the pitching and how confident you are in Strasburg. It's entirely possible that Strasburg performs like David Price in 2009, which wouldn't be worth it.

I do think he could repeat 09 Tommy Hanson type numbers. I suppose it depends on whether or not he needs pitching. If the trade doesn't benefit your team, its not a worthwhile trade. Keep in mind also that this is a keeper league. Andrus is great but what is his upside long term?

Yup, every Andrus owner I know thinks he's the next coming of PED Reyes. So far so good I guess.

Well, your pitching is pretty solid. In head to head Andrus can help out with several catagories each week where I'm not sure Strasburg will provide much above what you already have (Wins may be few and far between). Castro is tearing it up right now, but he's a rook so who knows what the future holds. I'd almost be tempted to stick with Andrus unless you think Strasburg is next coming of the freak. In a one year league it's almost a no brainer since Strasburg's innings will inevitably be limited during the playoffs.

You have so much speed on your BN you can replace most of andrus' stats, if its a keeper league I would take Strasburg.
