Obtaining Johan

Postby beantownmp » Mon May 17, 2010 10:29 am

My pitching staff needs consistency. I'm looking at going after Johan. My team is in my Sig. What's a fair offer for him? He's a Boston fan so I could sell Youkilis a little higher than normal. Is Youk straigh up good or too much? Thanks.

Youk for Johan is fair. In a ten team league though you can play the waiver wire for pitching. There must be a ton of guys out there.

I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.

So with that list of available free agents, do you think its worth it to trade away a bat like Youkilis for Johan? I feel like my team just needs that one consistent Ace which Johan *should* provide.

Do you think I need to make a move for a stud pitcher? Right now I have 9 pts in K's, 2 pts in ERA, 2 pts in WHIP, 5 pts in W's. Am I just panicking too early? Pitching is whats hurting me. My offense has 39 of 50 points whereas pitching only has 23 so I'm in the middle of the pack right now in standings.

Yup. The only thing Lewis is doing better is more K's which im sittin pretty with. Need ERA/WHIP the most.
