A-Gonz / Garza for Tex

Postby Rpales » Fri May 14, 2010 8:22 am

I've got a surplus of pitching to trade from and I need big help in RBI and AVG. Tex is an upgrade in both and a push in the rest.

But Garza is adds a lot of SP value, do you think I'm overpaying?

You're overpaying, but you can afford it. Do you want his team to get gonz and garza, knowing that gonz and tex will be relatively close by the end of the year?

This guy is in last place, so I'm not overly concerned about creating a new enemy.

I've got him considering Hamels right now, which would be way better...

I know I'm overpaying with Garza, but what about Hamels? I think that's still a nice fetch for Tex, but more even on paper than with Garza.

It's better to offer Hamels. He's been inconsistent for a while now, but this isn't a trade you need to make. If you're dying to have Tex go ahead. It's definitely not going to hurt you.

This guy wouldn't happen to have a decent 3rd baseman you could get in the deal too eh? I'm not sure you want to rely on Freese as your starting 3rd baseman all year long.

You're giving up way too much. I'd start with Bills or Peavy or someone first unless he has a decent 3rd baseman he could include (a flyer on A.Ramirez would be perfect. But someone like I.Stewart would also work well)
