Sizemore - Ichiro

You wanna trade who for who? Wow, that's awful/great/horrendous/beautiful/really terrible?

Sizemore - Ichiro

Postby The Peoples Champ » Mon Apr 19, 2010 8:25 am

my team is listed below. I usually don't like selling low, I thought grady was a very good pick in the middle of the 3rd round. However, with very little production from him, i am tied for 1st in my league in HR and i have sole possession of 1st in SB. I'm also dead last in AVG (i know it's early). another manager has been bothering me for sizemore since the draft. He also wants a RP. if my sources are accurate, Wuertz should be back soon, relegating Bard to the bench. I proposed him Sizemore and Bard for Ichiro. i think he might be getting the better end of the deal, but as i just picked up pence and expect to get mclouth off waivers, i'm acquiring more HR/SB and not exactly helping that AVG.

If he rejects the deal, is Sizemore and Madson too much for Ichiro? That would leave me with 3 setup men and 2 closers, so i'd try to trade Bard/Lowe for a low end closer or someone that gets occasional save opportunities and holds. Not sure about the Lidge/Philly situation...

If you are looking to boost your team AVG, Sizemore for Ichiro seems reasonable to me.

i'd rather have sizemore than ichiro.
usually so would i. i drafted sizemore 29th, ichiro went 37th. but sizemore hasnt hit a HR and i'm tied for 1st in HR. if you take away the teams and just look at the players, i'm conceding that i'm "losing" on this deal; however, if sizemore has another year like last year, this would be a steal.

Just wondering if Sizemore and Madson would be too much?

What a tool!

At this point you just reject and walk away.
