Considering Arenado

Postby cyler8 » Wed Sep 06, 2017 10:22 am

So I have been considering making a strong offer to acquire Arenado but the more I think about it the more I'm seeing that I may have to give up more than it's worth. Below is my, as of now, keeper list for next year:

Bregman (ss/3b elig)
Byron Buxton (hoping to win the lottery)
JD Martinez
Rhys Hoskins
Kyle Schwarber
AJ Pollock
George Springer
Clayton Kershaw

Minor league keepers
Luis Robert
Austin Meadows
Eloy Jimenez
Victor Robles
Lewis Brinson

This is a 6X6 Roto dynasty league. We can keep 5 minor leaguers. Extra cats are OPS and QS

My offer was going to be Kershaw, Pollock and Meadows for Arenado. Is that a good / bad offer? Too much for something when I have decent bats and my weakness would be SP? I have had a tremendous year pitching with really no ace pitchers (I traded for Kershaw and only have had him for 1 start). My pitching stats with literally Paxton being my only SP I have on my roster daily are: 3.50 ERA 1.20 WHIP.

Hold? Offer something else?

Thank you!

Sounds like a good offer to me, try it without Pollock first

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
