Keeper Trade

Pick a side:

Ellsbury/Bumgarner vs Heyward/Kluber

Is one side clearly better this year versus in the future? Or is it a clear choice regardless either way?

I'd rather have the Bum side. Kluber was fantastic last year, but Bum has the track record plus I trust him more to repeat his performance. Heyward may or may not really turn it around in St. Louis.

For this year alone, I'd go Bum, for future, I'd be tempted to go with Heyward's side.

I'd rather have the Kluber side. I think Heyward's going to be in for a big year, Kluber will regress but not by that much and Bumjuice's usage the past 2 years and Ellsbury's injury history both scare the beejezus out of me.

Klubot side for reasons mentioned above. I'd take Heyward's relative consistency over Ellsbury, whose speed will be diminishing with age.
