Trade help

Postby daniboy33 » Fri Apr 20, 2012 4:09 am

With Gardner on the DL I am now have JD and Bourjos starting, eh. With how solid my pitching staff is, should I look to move someone? What kind of offer should I throw out there? Garza for D Jennings? Or is that aiming too high?

Garza for Jennings is too high. You'd have to give up at least Bumgarner for Jennings this early in the season and that depends on opponent's view of Bumgarner.
IMO, you need Bourjos for steals and JD is fine while he's hitting. When he cools off flip him for another waiver guy. SAGNOF it for awhile to replace Gardner's SBs. No reason to panick and give up good pieces yet. Think De Aza, Bourgeois, Schafer, Crisp, Presley if available.
