J. Upton and Gallardo (or Shields) for Wright (or Longo).
Currently I'm not playing with a 3rd basemen because of some pitchers that became available on waivers and there is nothing worth holding. My other rationale is that I can pick up a solid option in the outfield easier then 3rd.
Should I do it and with who?

Re: Justin Upton
I'd play a 3rd baseman, and that's a bit much for Wright.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Re: Justin Upton
For Longo that's a bit of a different story, but Gallardo is probably only going to get better and Upton could really pick it up soon. It seems like he's also your best outfielder in what I would consider a weak outfield. You may be creating another weakness out of this trade. If you can pick someone off waivers, I'd do that, but it depends on who's available.
I'd keep an eye on Freese (assuming he's on waivers) and monitor how he does with this injury. He was hitting well enough to be an average starter on most teams.

Re: Justin Upton
Who's on waivers? I think you'd be better off playing the hot hand off waivers with 3B and waiting until Zimmerman comes back.

WR- Anquan Boldin
RB- Darren McFadden
RB- Mark Ingram
TE- Fred Davis

Re: Justin Upton
There is nothing on waivers at 3rd base.
Callaspo, Valencia, Infante, Tejada, Edwin, Freese (DL out as long as ZIMM).
Outfield has a little more life (guys that can actually contribute).
Fowler, Bernindina, Brantley, Raburn, Cuddyer.
I haven't had the 3rd base spot empty for long. I had Ian Stewart rolling around in his own poo there. Then someone dropped Lilly and I moved. I now feel I have an surplus of pitchers and can afford to move one. By shifting my problem to the outfield I feel I can put a hot player in there more frequently then 3rd. Once Zimm comes back I can shift him to Util. Then should have no problem trading Longo to anyone to fill any holes.
Should I offer maybe Chacin and a Closer instead of Gally?
I'm still on the fence just feeling it out. Ultimately I'm having trouble opening a roster spot so I can fill that 3rd Base spot with a stupid face, till Zimm is back.

Re: Justin Upton
is Peralta available at 3b? (he is in Yahoo) Otherwise is Cantu? Otherwise I would play Callaspo (hitting .341 with 10 RBIs in two weeks). Unless you hear Zimmerman go Morales, you shouldn't lose JUp for a 3b. Maybe trade a SP for a lower 3b that could play something else for you, like going after a Bautista or Alex Gordon.
