Maroney to Broncos

The scroll across the bottom of ESPN says that per Adam Schefter, Maroney has been traded to the Broncos. They have Moreno and Buckhalter. They hardly need a declining back in Maroney. As a Moreno owner, I'm not overly worried or excited about this move.

Was just about to pull the trigger on a Wells for Moreno trade (PPR league). Scratch that. Don't think McDaniels would acquire an ex-player to sit on the bench.

I think the translation for this move is: "Moreno gets hurt a lot. Buckhalter stinks. We need another guy to play when Moreno gets hurt becuase Buckhalter stinks."

Fin.

The translation is: Buckhalter blows and we need a better backup.

Moreno has nothing to do with this signing. Broncos got Maroney on the cheap to act as a backup with a familiar coach.

It's trades like these that make me hate the auto-drafters who just let yahoo rank for them. Maroney ghostedly owned in both leagues.

I really do not see him as worth owning unless there becomes a clear cut winner between him and Buckhalter.
