Rate my team

Postby mtw02 » Sun Aug 22, 2010 4:01 pm

10 team, non-PPR. 4 pts per TD pass, 6 per rush/receiving. Have a flex spot RB/WR/TE.

Note: Not happy I didn't get a better QB and/or backup.

QB-Kevin Kolb, Henne
RB-Chris Johnson, Shonn Greene, M. Barber, Jacobs, M. Bush, D. Brown, B. Scott
WR-Larry Fitzgerald, Bowe, Sims-Walker, Santonio, Berrian
TE-Zach Miller, Owen Daniels
D-Vikings
K - Not drafted (will do closer to opening day)

Any advice/feedback?

I guess my biggest concern is that in a 10 team league i'd want better than Bowe and Sims Walker as my 2 and 3. I feel I could do that with a 12 team league. RBs are great though and will obviously carry the team.

Being from Philly and watching Kolb closely, he'll put up decent numbers. Alot of yards, but do not be surprised if he cant punch the ball in in the red zone. He's shown numerous times that he struggles down there, forcing passes and making bad decisions.

Overall, it looks like a middle of the pack team for a 10 teamer. Might have to hope for daniels to come back blazing and trade him for a wr upgrade.

I'm sure one of your backup RBs will shine early and could be trade bait for an upgrade at WR. I like both Bowe and MSW, but I agree in a ten teamer I'd like a little better. I could see someone like Jacobs or Barber getting into the endzone a few times in the first/second game and you could pair him up with MSW for an upgrade.

Thanks Doc.

A few guys not drafted included Baltimore D (could they be top 5?), Ringer, Gerhart, and Garrard.

Think I should grab one of them and drop B Scott? I know some people are liking Scott as a valuable backup, but maybe I'm valuing him more than I should esp over a handcuff like Ringer (since I have CJ).

Having handcuffs in a 10 team league is hard to do usually. I do really like Ringer and usually I'd say grab him. I think Scott has a better chance of playing, but Ringer has more upside if CJ goes down than if Benson went down. Ugh, tough call! I think you need the #1 pick insurance.
