I'm a big fan of the Ron Popeil rules for catchers, the whole "set it and forget it" theory, but sometimes you gotta wonder if guys are going to come around, especially if they play on a bad team.
I've been very patient with Matt Wieters sucking up my lone catcher slot for most of the season. When is it too soon to swap a catcher?
Soto, Snyder, Montero and Buck are just some of the names on the wire in my league. Do I cut weight for any of these guys, or do I wait until the weather warms up and Omar Little crosses from East to West B-More to fill Wieters' bowl with Honey Nut?

Re: The (dead) Weight of Wieters
Unfortunately, Napoli isn't available. As a fan, I try to only own one Chicago Cubs player and I've maxed that out with Wells, though I might have to make an exception if Wieters doesn't pull his weight.
Re: The (dead) Weight of Wieters
pick up whichever catcher you want and stash weiters by dropping aroldis. maybe try to trade aroldis for something else...maybe a catcher?

Re: The (dead) Weight of Wieters
It has been so painful seeing his daily 0-4 line. I drafted him in the 6th round hoping that I would get a monster year. I'm not ready to give up yet but damn am I frustrated.
Re: The (dead) Weight of Wieters
What do you think Grey?
Re: The (dead) Weight of Wieters
I'd just let Wieters play, but Montero is worth grabbing for when he returns, though I wouldn't want him until he's playing so you'd have to stash for a bit.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Thanks. I dropped Chapman for Montero. Chapman's not coming up anytime soon.I'd just let Wieters play, but Montero is worth grabbing for when he returns, though I wouldn't want him until he's playing so you'd have to stash for a bit.
