Staying In 1st Place!!

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Staying In 1st Place!!

Postby LadyScorpio » Mon Jul 22, 2019 9:55 am

Hi Grey!

I'm currently tied at 1st place in my 10 team, roto, keeper, saves+holds league. Wanted to get your take on my finishing 1st with my current lineup (pitching in particular). Wanted to add Urquidy, but the clown I'm tied with scooped him up 1st!

C - J. McCann
1B - Rizzo
2B - D. Murray
SS - Tatis
3B - Machado
CI - Voit (plan to replace with R. Nuñez what do you think?)
MI - JoRam
OF - Acuña, Dahl, Laureano & Trout
U - Pederson & Heyward (has been hitting well since ASB)
BN - Margot (added for SBs and has been hitting lately)
IL - Eloy & Kiermaier (added for SBs then he went down)
SP - Bieber, Boyd, Gallen, S.Gray, Lynn, *M. Kelly & *Junis (* = streaming opps ONLY)
RP - Colomé, Neris, Pressly & Smith

I lead in most of the hitting categories except SB, but have gained ground there recently with Laureano and Dahl. Man, I wish Rizzo, Machado and Trout would run MORE!!! Thanks to recent blowups from Boyd, Bieber and now Lynn, I have to work on getting my ERA down. Suggestions?!? While Boyd and Bieber are no longer MUST starts, I think that Sonny Gray IS and I plan to start him going forward!!! Meanwhile, Musgrove, Plesac, Beede and Reynaldo...I know...(he's pitched well during his last 2 outings), are currently ALL available in this league. Which should I add and whom should I drop for the ROS?

Please advise and thanks!

Hold Voit there

I'd play Margot, drop Heyward and grab Plesac OR Drop Junis for Plesac if you want a bench bat -- Boyd, Bieber and Lynn are too good to drop

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
