Auction Keepers?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Auction Keepers?

Postby sotboy6 » Fri Jan 22, 2016 11:23 am

14 team, H2H, 6x6 (OPS, Holds, and QS instead of W), ESPN lineup.

We can keep up to $100 (after salary increases) going into the auction of $260.

So, will these guys be worth more than their price tags throughout the season? Or should I throw them back in the pool and be able to purchase them for about the same amount?

$19 - Carpenter
$19 - Encarnacion
$24 - Joey Bats
$17 - Kenley Jansen

My plan is to fill as much of my lineup with rosterable FA and rookies so I have a large dollars/slot average going into the auction.

With that, am I going to be okay with $3 Matt Duffy and $1 Delino DeShields Jr for my 2B and MI? I don't expect much from the positions and like spending money on CIs and OFs.

Thanks for input!

I've only ever done 2 auction leagues, so I'm not well versed on salaries....but Bautista at $24 is pretty good, no?

If I had to choose from the four. Encar man is best bang for the buck for me. Hard to choose without seeing rest of your roster though.
