No catcher in 6x6 OPS league?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

No catcher in 6x6 OPS league?

Sig team (weekly league)

I have not started a catcher this week or last week since d'Arnaud went on the DL (and the wire had hot garbage) and as a result, I'm going to be 3-1 with these last 2 weeks being wins by a big margin after Sunday.

As I look at the weekly results pages most catchers kill each teams AVE and OPS and even the guy I'm playing against has Yadier who has a -1 NSB this week so even his steals are hurting.

Is it even worth playing a catcher in a weekly HTH league for the off chance at a couple runs and RBI's knowing how much damage they are likely to do to your Ave and OPS over the course of the week? Guess it depends on each roster, but my bats are so strong (due to being able to keep Abreu for a 9th round pick and drafting Myers with my last pick), that those couple catcher runs/RBI's won't ever cost me a week...

Just thinking out loud in case any Razzballers <<<< your Mom's term, have ever pondered it...

I think it's a viable strategy. Especially if your hitting is strong.
