Help a brotha out

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Help a brotha out

Postby Cnhland » Tue Feb 25, 2014 10:34 am

I haven’t played fantasy bb in a while and a little behind. I’m taking over a team for a friend in a 12-team 5x5 keeper league. It is an auction draft ($250) budget and you can keep 10 players (25-man roster). The salaries are 110% of the previous year’s draft value or 80% of this year’s ESPN value if you picked them up off FA. I have some good keepers but need help on who I should go for and strategy.

Keepers
Mike Trout - $3
Bryce Harper - $4
Daniel Murphy - $2
Kyle Seager - $11
Joe Mauer - $11
Greg Holland $7
Mike Minor - $10
Francisco Liriano - $2
Salvador Perez - $6

I have one more keeper spot and can keep Ryan Zimmerman ($24), Alejandro De Aza ($3), Bobby Parnell ($2), or Lance Lynn ($9).
Who should I keep for the last spot? What’s the best number of SP/RP (9 spots)? What’s a good general strategy? Who should I go for in the draft? Who are the best young players to look for keepers?

Appreciate the help.

Zimmerman... You should get 3 closers and 6 starters...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
