Hey all,
Just wrapped up a fantasy draft in a long running league. We drafted early this year, so there's time to make corrections to the roster if there are any glaring draft screw ups. I'm in a 12-team, points league, with twenty-three man rosters. one catcher, 1b, 2b, SS, 3b, 3 OF's, UT, 5 SP's, 2 RP's, and six man bench. Our point structure is pretty generic: one point for total bases, hits, walks, runs batted in, 2 points for steals; negative points for grounding into a double, strikeouts, and caught stealing. Concerning pitching, we have wins, quality starts, saves, strikeouts, outs; negative points for hits/runs allowed, walks, blown saves and losses. I just wanted to post my team and get anyone's opinion and advice on what weaknesses need to be addressed.
Ca: Jesus Montero
1b: Ike Davis
2b: Jose Altuve
SS: Josh Rutledge
3b: Miggy
OF: Braun
OF: Choo
OF: Alex Gordon
UT: Nelson Cruz
BE: Kendrys Morales
BE: Emilio Bonifacio
SP: Madison Bumgarner
SP: Matt Moore
SP: Jake Peavy
SP: Hyun-Jin Ryu
SP: Dillon Gee
RP: Sergio Romo
RP: Tom Wilhelmsen
BE: Mike Fiers
BE: Felix Doubront
BE: Casey Janssen
BE: Johan Santana
I'm especially worried about this pitching staff ; Johan Santana just worries me. Ricky Nolasco, E. Volquez, Ricky Romero, Porcello, Buehrle are sitting on waivers. Should Johan be dropped for one of those options? I appreciate any critiques and/or suggestions.

That pitching staff worries me as well. I would consider dropping Emilio for another starter. In a points league I don't see Emilio having a ton of value. As for who to pick up, not sure. They all have issues as well. Maybe Romero but I don't would also be dropping him a week into the season if something looked better.
