first hitting draft - how's this look?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

first hitting draft - how's this look?

Postby HowieWan » Thu Feb 16, 2012 2:42 pm

Here's what I ended up with - 12 team h2h 6x6 (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP). See any weaknesses? Real draft is coming up soon, need to know if this lineup is good enough to win.

C - Perez (just want the .280 AVG late in the draft)
1B - Fielder
2B - Howie Kendrick
SS - Asdrubal Cabrera
3B - Sandoval
OF - Holliday
OF - Jennings
OF - Suzuki
UTIL - Lind

Help?

Lind and Suzuki could be major OBP drains; I'm not convinced Suzuki bounces back. Other than Holliday & Fielder, you don't have anybody you can hang your hat on for a .350 OBP since they're high swing/contact guys. Desmond is your swing man on that; if he performs up to expectation, he'll ease that. Would like to see one more powerbat in replacement of Suzuki but not bad overall.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
