Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

h2h pitchers for today

Postby djkshenzhen » Sun Jul 03, 2011 7:45 am

I'm down by 5 Ks in h2h today, but up in ERA (2.23 for me, 3.15 for my opponent) and up in WHIP (0.74 for me, 0.87 for my opponent). He has no starters going today, and i have Gio at home vs. Baltimore and Beach at home vs. Arizona. My opponent doesn't have any starters today. Would you start one or both of them? If I start them I'm almost guaranteed to win Ks, but worried about losing WHIP and ERA. I'm up in wins 5-2. Also have all my relievers in today - I'm down by one hold and tied in saves, so it's still possible they could save or screw up my ERA/WHIP.

Your era is probably safe but whip is up in the air. I would start both and go balls to the wall. Go big or go home. Playing them you do win K and might still win everything else. Sitting them you might still lose whip with a bad RP.

Depending on relievers, I would just play Beachy. I like him to get at least 5 k's, but if your opponent has relievers going, you'd need both to have a good shot at k's.
10 team standard H2H league, no PPR
QB: Drew Brees
RB: Le'Veon Bell
RB: Terrance West
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Randall Cobb
WR: Alshon Jeffery
TE: Greg Olsen
K: Stephen Gostkowski
Def: NE Patriots

Bench: Pierre Garcon, Ben Tate, Trent Richardson, Pierre Thomas, Golden Tate, Donald Brown, Dennis Pitta, Greg Jennings
