I'm locked in a tight matchup:
K (52-54)
W (5-4)
ERA (2.782-2.942)
WHIP (1.091-1.096)
My opponent is starting J Johnson v COL and Pavano v CLE. Wins and Ks are really close, so I could just go for volume and hope the ratios hang in there. I can start some (or all) of the following:
Anderson (@ SEA)
Zambrano ( v LAD)
Beachy (@ SF)
Based on team OPS (*Beware of small sample sizes*): Mariners are average v LHP and below average at home; Dodgers are average v RHP and good on the road; Giants are average v RHP and poor at home.
Which players would you start?
Whom should I start in this close matchup?
Whom should I start in this close matchup?

Re: Whom should I start in this close matchup?
Two votes for Anderson. If you go the volume route i think all those guys are start-able. You've got to figure JJ is going to help your opponent with k's, whip, and era, but the Indians have been a bit of a surprise so far, so you may catch a break with Pavano today.
Re: Whom should I start in this close matchup?
Thanks for your input, gents. I'm worried that by only starting Anderson I'll be forfeiting Ks, jeopardizing Wins, and still not securing ERA/WHIP. I'm leaning towards starting all 3 to feel better about Ks and Wins, and then hoping ERA/WHIP works itself out favorably. Any other thoughts?
