Re: Sandoval for Chapman

I think so. It's hard to interpret an 8-team league, but you already have 5 closers with the potential for a 6th if Motte comes back healthy and regains the job.

Re: Sandoval for Chapman

I like Lee better than Wainwright, so I'd do the first trade. Also, your signature shows up as ridiculously long for some reason.

Greinke/Pence for Goldy/Samardzija

I just offered Greinke and Pence to the Giants fan in my league in exchange for Goldschmidt and Samardzija, and he accepted! I wasn't really expecting him to accept, but I think I'm happy with the exchange. Shark looked amazing in today's game (granted, the opposition needs to be accounted for, but ...

Panning for Goldy

I'm experiencing some buyer's remorse for drafting Greinke in the 6th round instead of Goldschmidt, who went to an autodrafter on the very next pick. Fortunately, the guy who drafted him is a Giants fan, and I think I might be able to interest him in Hunter Pence. So I'm thinking of offering Greinke...

Re: Just drafted -- looking for feedback and suggestions

Thanks for the comment. Any suggestions on who to pick up?

I'm also thinking about offering Greinke + Pence for Goldschmidt and Samardzija. Worth doing?

Re: How'd I Do?

Looks pretty solid overall, but a bit weak on speed. You might be able to cobble enough SBs together if you get ABs for Escobar and Gomez, but are you going to bench your other players (once Hanley gets back) to do so? Also, you'll have to be active on the waiver wire for closer replacements, with o...

Re: Draft Critique

Wow, that's a solid team. I can't believe you got Miggy, McCutchen and Upton! Only possible weakness looks like your RPs, as you've only got two closers and one MR in a league that counts SVs and HLDs. You might want to consider trading or dropping a bench bat for a relief pitcher.

Just drafted -- looking for feedback and suggestions

The league is 11-Team Roto 7x7 with H, OPS, K/BB, and QS added to the usual 5x5 stats. I had the 10th pick in our snake draft, and my team is in my signature. Here's my take on what I like and dislike about my team: Likes: - Middle infield . With hits as a stat category, Altuve and Castro have more ...

Re: Yahoo vs. Grey's Rankings -- bargains abound!

And another Yahoo mock is in! Picked 9th this time and used the War Room to make sure I wasn't getting unbalanced in any categories. I also tried to grab different guys than I've targeted in the past, at least on offense. I always seem to end up with some of the same pitchers, though. Again, I got a...

Re: Yahoo vs. Grey's Rankings -- bargains abound!

And another one! Picked 3rd this time in a 12-team league. Not as insane a team this time, but still pretty solid. Both times I grabbed OFs with my first three picks, and both times I think it worked pretty well. Common elements so far: Goldschmidt, J. Upton, Ike Davis, and Todd Frazier are all easy...
