Re: Favourite format
Yeah, 12 team is the standard w/ good reason. But, admittedly, I do enjoy the challenge of a 14 team league. It's deep like the middle section of a pool - you can do a cannon ball and then not have to tread water when you resurface.

Re: what 10 to keep
Re: Cueto's bad luck - ha, yeah, April, May, July & September, were unlucky for him.
But I jest... yes, I could see his ERA coming down from 4.80. But do you see him finishing the season sub-4.00? Hmm, maybe he's closer to a *starting* Morrow than I originally assumed.

Re: Mock 5 X 5 Waiting on P's and C's Strategy out of 10th Spot
I agree w/ Grey - your mock hitting looks to be of mock championship caliber. But your mock pitching is pretty weak. Just to throw it out there: perhaps instead of Delgado and DeRosa in your R11 P10 and R12 P1, you could have used those two picks to grab one or two #2 pitchers with upside. Gallardo,...

Re: what 10 to keep
Morrow did look good in 75% of his starts in September, but he only had 5 starts. What I'm saying is, he's pitched about 65 innings each of the last two years. Even if he's stretched out, he won't be able to throw more than 120 innings without risking injury. So that's about 17 to 20 starts. I'm no...

Re: Granderson's value?
Hey, Peter, good to see you again. My first thought is to say you shouldn't do it, but what kind of talent is available in the "10th" round? Hey Grey - glad to be here... You know, right after I clicked "submit", I thought, Nelson Cruz? wtf? I know what kind of player/blogger Granderson is ( http:/...

Granderson's value?
I know it's still a little early, but I've got the Itch - and my leaguemates are starting to talk pre-season deals. It's a 12 team, h2h, 9 keeper (non-auction) league. I've been offered a first round draft pick (which is more/less equal to a 10th rnd pick due to the keepers - but there's usually a l...

Re: my bloody valentine 3d
Yeah, I had the same disappointment. A 3d rendering of Loveless? I'd pay to see that.I was pissed when I found out the movie wasn't about the band My Bloody Valentine.

Re: Jimmy Rollins or Carlos Lee?
Lee is a nice guy. His annual 30 HR are the very model of a modern major general. But I say go w/ Rollins. It's conceivable that he hits 20 HR this year. That, plus the inevitable 35+ SBs and the positional scarcity, puts him ahead of Lee. But one thing I noticed on Rollins (kind of a warning?): in ...

Re: Peavy or Hernandez
I like Peavy more than "King" Felix. How big is the league? I ask because, if a guy like Peavy wasn't kept, what kind of bats are now available?yea thats who i was leaning towards. i like hernandez but i dont feel i can rely on him

Re: What fantasy website do you use?
I've heard good things about Sportsline*, but I'm a devotee of Yahoo (my keeper leaguemates are cheap bastards and I can't imagine us being able to move to a $ service). Then again, my primary league likes to manage our drafts ourselves, offline - so I/we haven't been bothered by the lack of keeper/...
