Re: Help picking the last one

If you keep a pitcher, it should be Scott Baker. Yes, I am aware of Rudy's excellent risky pitchers post and Baker's high breaking ball rate, but he's a safer bet than Young.

Re: keeper question

Drew, Atkins, Magglio, Kazmir Dick-K is due for a stinker and keeping Valverde is crazy talk. Stephen Drew is probably the best keeper on that team - don't let him go. I don't like Atkins any more than you probably do, but he's the best of what's left. By the way, the GMs in this league are smoking ...

Re: My keepers now seem to be set - advice needed on draft

I don't understand. Your initial post sounds like standard snake draft, and then later you give keeper prices which sounds like an auction league. What is going on here? Also, I think your projections for Tulo: 25-95-.290 ...are quite optimistic. He was quite bad last year before the injuries, as we...

Re: 2 keepers - lots of options

Shields in the 12th is a slam dunk, IMO. So that leaves you with one more. The guy who has Lincecum in 9th and Bruce in 19th will probably throw Broxton in 23rd back, then (you can all keep only two, right?). I like Broxton in 23rd better than either Davis in 10th or Bay in 7th. Drew in the 16th is ...

Re: 6th Keeper - Head to Head League - Help me Rhonda! (Or Grey)

I am in a 12 team keeper league... We each keep 6 players. Please ignore this if it does not apply, but in many leagues (ESPN keepers, for example) it is possible to keep fewer than the standard number of players and have "pre-round" picks before the main draft starts. Many GMs seem to be unaware o...

Re: keeper statagy

I'd keep Howard, Hanley, Granderson, Rios, BJ, Lincecum and Justin. Get rid of the rest except... Trade Billingsley and Scherzer for Billinglsey if you can.
Man, you've got a low opinion of Max Scherzer.
