Re: Big trade...

You'd get the best player in the deal, while Choo/Rizzo is pretty close to Upton/Sandoval in value. The clincher is that you'd lose your 4th and 11th round picks instead of your 3rd and 6th rounders if you accepted. I'd definitely do this deal.

Fantasy Team Names

I always have a few names that I recycle every year, but I came across a few good ones recently (and I usually just go by my razzball handle in the RCLs): The Jurick Store (can't resist a Seinfeld reference) Vottoerotic Asphyxiation J.J. Putz the lotion on it's skin The Musial Suspects For the creat...

Re: Storen not closing - Who is the pickup?

I consider Moose an upgrade over Aramis, but it's probably not that big of a difference if you prefer Ramirez. Reddick looks headed for a 30/12 season, which is useful in any format. If you need pitching though, Bauer looks like a good bet for Ks which would be valuable in your league considering th...

Re: Two questions

1) I would

2) It depends who's available. I'd probably hang onto Kennedy and use him in favorable matchups. I'd bench Hudson until he turns it around, or you could replace him if there's a superior option on the wire.

Re: Storen not closing - Who is the pickup?

It depends what cats you need the most help in. You could drop Storen, DL Tulo, and grab Moose, Reddick, or Bauer. I like Moose more than Aramis and Reddick over Rasmus and Rios. If you need pitching though, you could stash Bauer.

Re: trout for miggy/tex/cano

This deal looks like a no-brainer for you in a vacuum, but there are some things to consider. How long would you be able to keep Trout? At the same salary or escalating? How many keepers? Would you be able to keep Miggy or Cano?

Re: Will this get me laughed at?

I moved Stubbs and Guerra for Cruz a couple of weeks ago, so it's definitely possible to buy low on Cruz right now. I'd stick with Alvarez/Werth for Cruz and go from there. The other team might go for it, especially if they just lost Longoria or Sandoval.

Re: Humber Perfecto

In my first feel-good moment of the fantasy baseball season, I streamed Humber in all four of my money leagues this week. Sorry, Billy. And btw Chris, Sox-Yanks is very interesting now after Teix's bomb.

Re: Stanton for Heyward and Lawrie

Yeah, it's pretty bad. Lawrie's arguably the best player in the deal and you'd be giving up Heyward too. If you want Stanton, try Heyward straight up, or Heyward + a marginal piece.
