Sunday Streamers

My priorities are (in order of importance) W, WHIP, K, ERA. Please pick your top 3 for Sunday: K Correia @ MIL E Santana @ TEX F Garcia v BOS M Buehrle @ OAK J Vazquez @ WAS C Capuano @ HOU A Sonnanstine v BAL A Rodriguez v NYM K Davies @ DET My best guess is Santana, Capuano, Buehrle. What do you t...

Re: Brad Evans tops himself

I thought it was laughable given Hanley's recent surge. And he goes as far as saying that Hanley's owners won't be able to turn a profit this season. No sh!t, it's pretty hard to outperform your #2 draft slot. Hanley will be fine, just don't expect 40/40.

Re: Pitcher A vs. Pitcher B

Beware of small sample sizes, but yes, own Bud wherever possible. Strikeout machine.

Jose Bautista

Nobody expected him to carry on the pace he set last year, least of all Grey. As a spirited follower of the 'stache, I too avoided Jose. Now I want to know what Grey and the boardmembers think of him now. Cockcroft (ESPN): #9 of all batters Funston (Y!): #3 overall Grey (preseason): #79 I'm not tryi...

Phillips for Hanson

Would you trade Phillips/Chacin for Hanson/McGehee? I would slide Figgins in at 2B and play McGehee at 3B. In theory I would end up dropping Reynolds for a waiver-wire SP, like Dempster, Stauffer, Narvesen, etc. My SPs are good, but I lack an ace. All opinions are welcome.

Bay for Hudson?

2 questions:

1. Would you trade Jason Bay for Daniel Hudson? See team in sig.

2. If you had the option, would you prefer trading him for Gio Gonzalez instead?

Thanks!

McCutchen for Mauer and Marcum?

To anyone with an opinion: Would you trade McCutchen for Mauer and Marcum? My team is in my sig. I think Marcum would help stabilize my Gallardo-led pitching staff. Mauer will be back in a couple of weeks and is an upgrade over Napoli. However, McCutchen is my top OF and gives me a quality power/spe...

My league has limited starts per week and decent 1-day starts go days in advance. Please rank the following player-matchups for the rest of this week.

1. Richard v PIT
2. Lewis @ SEA
3. Chen v BAL
4. Kennedy @ SD
5. Humber @ SEA
6. Floyd @ SEA

Thanks!

Re: TRADE GALLARDO & LIRIANO 4 JOSH JOHNSON & Hiroki KurodA?

You have Kershaw, Weaver, Hamels, Gallardo, AND Liriano? Unless this is a 6-team league, I would trade 2 or 3 of them for some bigger bats.

Re: Whom should I start in this close matchup?

Thanks for your input, gents. I'm worried that by only starting Anderson I'll be forfeiting Ks, jeopardizing Wins, and still not securing ERA/WHIP. I'm leaning towards starting all 3 to feel better about Ks and Wins, and then hoping ERA/WHIP works itself out favorably. Any other thoughts?
