Madison Bumgarner
The World Series hero has started this season with his own a cappella version of 'Drop it Like it's Hot.' Roughly 25% of owners have dropped him in CBS leagues. 'Why,' I pondered. Well, instead of going out and getting hammered this evening, I decided to curl up on the couch with a hot cup of cocoa,...

Re: Gordon Beckham
Okay, my best options to replace him on the waiver wire are Darwin Barney, Juan Uribe, and Daniel Murphy. I mean should I really put trust into any of those players, or do I just wait out Beckham. Could also swing a trade potentially.

Gordon Beckham
I saw him on the sell list this week. Are we really ready to give up on him after just a couple bad weeks. I feel like that kind of reaction is kind of strong.
He has a poor BABIP right now. Granted his LD% is a little low, but even still he was on fire to start the season.

Re: Smoak or Wallace??
Yeah don't just drop Liriano. Even with his recent struggles, you'd have to figure at some time he will be able to string together a few quality starts, and then everyone will be back on his nuts again. If I had to choose between Smoak and Wallace, I would choose Smoak. I think he has more upside, e...

Should I be worried?
My team is currently 2 - 1 in a 12 team H2H league that scores AVG, SLG, Rs, RBIs, SBs, BB/KO, ERA, WHIP, IPs, Ks, SVs, and Ws - Ls. I'm on the verge of going 3 - 1 after this week, but my hitting has been disappointing. I have yet to eclipse a .270 AVG, and the last three weeks my team has hit an a...

Re: Gallardo..
Hold on to Gallardo. I know he's sucked, but so did Cole Hamels in April of last year. Like you said, his stuff is there, so this isn't a case of dead arm like Hughes. Don't start him. Don't trust him, but stash him away for at least another month to see if he can get his stuff together. We all know...

Re: Bedard or Ogando
Right, and I forgot to mention that I am starting Freddy Sanchez over Gordon Beckham while Beckham is slumping. Obviously I will be dropping him when Beckham gets back on track (notice how I didn't use the word 'if'.)

Bedard or Ogando
I have Alexi Ogando, but Bedard was recently dropped in my league. I'm thinking of picking up Bedard and dropping Ogando. Everyone else on my bench is more valuable than Ogando (with the exception of maybe Kyle McClellan, but he has Dave Duncan as a pitching coach so I give him the advantage between...
