Re: Time to drop Kevin Gregg?

I second holding Gregg. Pick up Thornton sounds good, but I would drop Beckham (you aren't going to burn 1/3 keepers on him surely). I would also try the Slowey deal.

Stanton's looming call-up

He is available (I still haven't picked up a Lopez @ 2B because Robot and Smoak are fighting it out still over who gets cut).

Does Stanton make sense for me to pick up BEFORE I move on Lopez? Is Ian Kennedy drop-able or does anyone else leap out if I wanted to pick up both Stanton and Lopez.

Re: R Week or K johnson

I'm liking the slightly less mercurial KJ.

I would target an Ike Davis upgrade for util 2.

JBay, Hunter, Dunn .. something like that.

Re: Longoria for Lincecum/Beltre

Is this a keeper league? Usually trades originate from boredom or need, and I think the cause of this offer is Beltre yawnstipation for which Longoria is the cure. If you think the owner is just wanting to part with Lincecum, try to move Morneau and some SP for Butler and Timmy. I doubt he does a de...

Re: Alex Rios for Ellsbury?

Healthy Ellsbury? Hellzyeah No way I do this with a nagging injury ... flipping Rios for someone HEALTHY drafted in the 2nd/3rd round though makes a lot of sense and we should all at least try. I tried a Cliff Lee for Rios (I cancelled as I obtained SP from a separate deal), and currently have an ow...

Re: Need a drop, please rate from worst to best

Sucks, but my gut says same thing: the Robot's gotta go. I have offered him for nothing already so it's not like I am out a whole lot. I know he will be picked up this week. Trying one last trade offer to a Pale Hose fan (Rios and Robot for Furcal and Holliday). If declined, pick up Felipe, drop Jon...

Re: Beltran and B Roberts

I have 2 DL spots occupied by the subjects of this thread. I think Roberts will be back in 2 or 3 weeks so if you've held him this long would be silly to not wait out better part of June for answers. Beltran on the other hand, seems like every 3 weeks there is an update pushing his return out anothe...

Re: One for One trade. Can you give me your opinion? Thanks Guys

A mild sense of not doing the deal here. Based on belief that Swish will help your team more than Hamels for the rest of 2010. Any chance of sending Hamels owner to the owners of Matt Cain or Ricky Nolasco and seeing if they would do 1:1's? I'm more a believer in the two latter arms than the former ...
