It's just how I do things - I'm a real hardass when it comes to trades and sometimes this approach hinders me (or even bites me in the ass). I totally understand the move.

Hopefully Ethier comes out blasting and if he does I think you'll be okay. But I wouldn't haven't done this one, either, because I would have been losing value plus I don't do trades unless I get noticeably better in some area. But I own and love Ethier and can see the logic.

Hard to say without knowing more details. It's a close call. In a vacuum I might take Kendry (especially if I had a hole at 1B).
