Re: Jason Heyward

thanks Grey,

p.s. read the Yahoo Friends and Family draft report, hope you pop their inflated egos. Look forward to your write-up of your draft. I'm not sure how Reyes in the 4th is a reach, but McCutchen two picks later isn't.

Re: Jason Heyward

what exactly is his potential. Getting conflicting reports here. I see some hooplah about him hitting long batting practice homers, but his actual homer totals in the minors were nothing much to write home about. I can't tell if the projections are conservative because of playing time. Is this a 30+...

Re: Can Upton pull a Kemp?

3rd/4th round is a lot different from the 1st round to me. I go by the philosophy that your first pick or two should be anchors for the rest of your team, if you want to get a little frisky after that, by all means go for it.

Re: Kinsler - the baseball gods have a sense of humor

I'm not worried. Kinsler usually waits until August or late July to get hurt seriously.

Rangers have been in Surprise, AZ for like 8 years now.. I think the Royals are there as well.

Shaun Marcum

Named opening day Jays starter. I remember being quite pleased with him in 2008, not even in the top 300? Never know what will happen with TJ recovery, but seems to be a nice sleeper that will cost next to nothing to grab.

11th in a 12 team league quandry

I am fairly set on where i want to go with the 11th pick, depending on if anybody drops to me, but the doubts are creeping in.. typical roto, no CI/MI, only 3 OF 1st (11th) - Longoria or Howard (possibly Kemp. I just have a feeling my league doesn't value him enough) 2nd (14th)- Kinsler (Rangers fan...

Re: Any concern drafting Matt Kemp?

I'm more worried that he is dating Rihianna than anything. I love me some Kemp, but I won't be taking him unless he slips to late late first/early 2nd

Re: not enough Pitching? 10 team H2H

good points. I would rather have the total value as well as the reliability. Tulo just doesn't fill me with confidence no matter how well he hits in the second half.

I am 11/12 in my main money league this coming Monday. Thinking about Howard/Kinsler (yes I am a Rangers homer)

not enough Pitching? 10 team H2H

Joined a league in *cough CBS cough* I feel like my bats will carry me, but in a 10 team H2H league do you think I took too many chances on pitchers? I got Lincecum because it may be the one time ever I do, and in a 10 teamer I figured I could get enough good bats to cover for it. There are some saf...
