Re: Gio Gonz
I have him ahead of Richard and Kennedy. However, since none of those guys would start for me, I prefer the high reward player out of the three. I'm keeping a close eye on Gio Gonzalez and Mat Latos...conflicted as to whether I should go for one of those guys now or wait until I see them pitch first.

Re: Punted DH
I'd take Hafner to start the season.

Re: Ranking Pitchers
People have been giving me grief over the last few days for my Carmona acquisition. Spending some time over the weekend trying to sort out, what I think, are the most capable pitchers left on my league's waiver wire, I have assembled the below ranking. The basis for the ranking is not Ks, CGs, WHIP...

Re: Draft thoughts?
If Hochevar has figured out how to pitch out of the stretch, he could surprise. That has been his biggest issue. It's all mental. He has the upside to become a solid starter, evidenced by his 80-pitch complete game against the Reds, 13 strikeouts and no walks in seven scoreless against the Rangers, ...

Re: 2nd
I agree that Hudson is the typical play here, but Barmes is a sneaky sleeper pick. The match ups look really nice for Barmes this week.

Re: S. Rodriquez for M. Brantley
I would hold onto Rodriguez. He has been hitting well, looking like the next Zobrist.

Week 1: SP, U and 3B
12-team, H2H, points-based leage: (hitters: -1 K, +1 BB). (pitchers: +10 w, +1 IP, +1 K, +3 CG, +10 SO, -1 BB, -3 L) I have to decide between the following at 3B: Aramis Ramirez (3 @ ATL, 3 @ CIN) Michael Young (3 v. TOR, 3 v. SEA) Chase Headley (3 @ ARI, 3 @ COL) I'm leaning towards starting Aramis...

Re: 1st Rd draft pick
Btw, donated $13 to the margarita fund tonight. I recommend that anyone/everyone donates. I appreciate your advice. I will continue to support your efforts throughout the season.

Re: 1st Rd draft pick
As always, thank your for your advice. A margarita is coming your way. I'll take Miggy at the 5th pick. Then it gets a bit more unpredictable. I'm leaning towards one of Sizemore, Ellsbury, V. Martinez or Reyes in that order. Two of those four will be available. I know you favor Sizemore, then Ellsb...
