week 21 lineup help: 1B, 3rd OF and 4th SP

This past week was rough. Just when you think you're outsmarting the slumps with sneaky free agent pick ups...you get a dose of the jinx. Felix, Headley, Rizzo and Cuddyer hurt me while Pence and Sandoval did a nice job flicking me off from the bench. That said, the decision making was sound at the ...

pick one Sandoval (3@WAS, 3@MIA) v. Headley (3@COL, 4 v.NYM)

Sandoval has 3 @ WAS (Gio, J. Zimm, Haren) and 3 @ MIA (Eovaldi, H. Alvarez, Koehler) Headley has 3 @ COL (Chacin, Manship, De La Rosa) and 4 v. NYM (Wheeler, Niese, Mejia, Harvey) Both are relatively cold, though Sandoval has been ice cold recently. Headley's Ks can really hurt his production. I'm ...

Re: Salazar for a keeper

He's electric. I like his chances to make the rotation next year. You never know, but I'd hold on to find out.

pick one: Rizzo (3 v. CIN, 3 v. STL) or Pence (3@WAS, 3@MIA)

week 20, in the mix for a playoff berth via winning division or wildcard.

Rizzo with 3 v. CIN (Latos, Bailey, Arroyo) and 3 v. STL (Lynn, Kelly, Wainwright) - all righties, which is Rizzo's strength
Pence with 3 @ WAS (Gio Gonz, J. Zimm, Haren) and 3 @ MIA (Eovaldi, H. Alvarez, Koehler)

week 19 lineup advice - last SP & Utility

Pick one starting pitcher for next week: Latos v. OAK (Strailly) Kluber v. DET (A. Sanchez), v. LAA (C.J. Wilson) I have Wainwright (2 starts), M. Cain (2 starts) and Felix locked in. My opponent has Sale (v. NYY, v. MIN) and Nolacso (@STL, v. TB) with 2 starts each, Derek Holland @ HOU, Sabathia @ ...

Re: Drop Kennedy...

If you can trade Kennedy in a two-for-one deal to upgrade a weaker position, do it. Then, use the open slot to pick up Porcello. If he's not available any longer, then Gee.

Re: Waiver Wire

I would definitely pick up Porcello. I would consider dropping one of Berkman or Beachy...whichever player you think will sit the longest in the free agent pool.

Re: Rutledge vs. Profar?

I would rather take a chance on Profar than Rutledge rest of season. However, if you're looking short term and Rutledge has home games, I can see why you'd roll with him for the time being.
