Re: draft for 2nd year keeper

I like Flacco the best out of the bunch... 2nd year in system with a huge arm. Flacco should get some good looks this year with defenses keying up to stop the BAL run game.

Re: Need to make a trade

If you can get anything for Caddy and Faulk I would move them. I know Caddy is the "#1" right now, yet I doubt his value is higher than it is right now... and TB backfield looks to be a fantasy disaster until somebody goes down.... and I don't really see a scenario where you would ever start Faulk. ...

Re: Who To Start? Favre or C. Benson

If one's league allows for a QB at a flex position and one is unsure if they should start a QB or RB at the flex position, then the owner drafted poorly.

A QB2 or QB3 has a significantly lower ceiling of productive -- and more upside -- than any potential RB3.

Re: adam jones

Nobody goes on the DL after rosters are expanded in September unless somebody gets put on the 60 day DL to open a spot on the 40 man roster or to open up a spot on the playoff roster.

I highly doubt Adam Jones gets put on the 15 day DL.

AL? NL? What offensive stats can you make ground on?

Re: Rios, Pence, Maybin

Question: does the board see Maybin at $8 in a traditional 5x5 NL roto league as in-the-money? If so, how much. Dude's new plate approach kills his power and he hardly ran when in AAA (is 25 SB his ceiling in '10?). I have this feeling dude is evolving into a better baseball player to the detriment ...

Re: Would you take Manning @ #24?

I have seen QBs overvalued in every draft I have been in so far.... unreal really. In my home auction ($200) keeper ($3 QB increase, $8 RB, $4 WR) league (2 QB, 3 RB, 4 WR, flex, 2 TE, 2 K, 2 D/st) the prices for QBs was absolutely ridiculous. Brees went for $43... SJax went for $45. The point diffe...

Re: RB Help

Devastating loss for Chicago's RB depth. If Forte goes down Wolfe and the other AP will not get the job done.

Problem with Pre-Draft Rankings

Looking at past years the turnover for the top 10 in RB is far greater than that at WR and QB. Granted, you need premier RB to rake up the points, yet every year it seems the RBs I started with are different than the ones I head into postseason battle with. I've tried a new strategy of drafting this...

Re: Would you take Manning @ #24?

Looking at past years... the QB and WR are the most predictable. I usually like to grab a clear RB1 if in the top 7 and then pounce on top WR... stocking my bench with a ton of high upside backups RBs. Of course it depends who else is available at 24, yet it would be hard pressed to find better valu...
