Re: RCL Leagues

I'm borrowing a friend's CPU till next week (mine died and I just bought a new MacBook). No idea how to capture a html screenshot to jpg on this old Powerbook. Here is a horrible cut/paste job until I can get my act together next week. Apologies. Razzball -- Project Mayhem Standings DIVISION 1 TEAM ...

Re: Backup QB's

One wouldn't definitely not be buying low on Thomas Jones or LJ. They are well-known players and their upside isn't greater than the value most fantasy players hold them at right now. Besides, Jamaal Charles has stolen passing downs away from LJ, and, thanks to the horrible KC defense, KC will be pa...

Re: M Bush or Mendenhall

Bush is far more talented, yet doesn't have as clear a path to being the lead back in a RBBC. However, Oakland runs the ball a ton and Russell checks down a lot. Mendenhall, unless FWP and Moore go down, will not be in on passing downs and frankly hasn't looked that good so far. I would pick Bush ov...

Re: Boldin for Smith Trade

How many every down backs are their in the NFL right now? MJD, Forte, Purple Jesus (close enough), Gore and Smith are it really. Sproles will never, ever get more than 15 touches a game -- his upside is limited in non-PPR leagues big time. I suspect McDaniels will use a RBBC system all year league -...

Re: help please..gonna drop Anthony Gonzalez...

I would go with Steve Smith, but not by much over Bennett/Morgan/Clayton in that order.

Smith has the most clarity being the #1 guy on a team with a competent QB (I'm just not sold on Bennett... yet).

Re: RB situation

Caddy's got the talent (I believe he was a 1st rounder after all). It looks like he is over his knee injuries, yet the problem with a three-headed monster that hasn't been in battle yet is we have no idea which head is going to be the dominant one (I know that sounds so, so wrong). Caddy's my best b...

Re: RB Pick ups

Mike Bell for week one. Indications so far out of Philly are that McCoy is going to inherit the Buckhalter role to start the season. Long-term? Tougher than one would expect. How bad is Thomas's knee... really? If Thomas and Bush battle injuries all year Bell could be a total sleeper out of nowhere ...

Re: Week 1 Flex Assist

Didn't Cribbs just report this week? Does he even know the playbook in the Browns new system?

Too much risk IMO for week one. Go with Felix and A-Gonz.

Re: RB situation

Ouch. Is Mike Bell still available? If so, run -- don't walk -- to pick him up and insert him in your lineup. Stewart, Caddy, Ware? brutal decision and definitely no clear decision out of the mix. If it were me I would put Caddy as my RB2 and start Hester as my flex... yet I probably be prepared to ...

Re: McFadden Vs. Parker?

You could have told me that was really Shaun Alexander wearing Willie Parker's jersey last night and I would have believed it. Last night showed me PIT is going to have real issues running the ball this year (I know, I know it was only one game, but): - PIT offensive line is not a very talented unit...
