customized salary cap keeper question

OK this is long winded and convoluted, but I writing it out helps me think, and maybe someone out there will have an opinion. :) 12 team mixed league, 3 OF, 1 Util, 7 x 7 (usual plus 2B, OBP, L, K/9), 4 keepers Keep 4, with each player having a keeper value point based on the number of years he had ...

Re: Go Big or Go Small?

OK, we settled on:

give: Aardsma and Contreras

get: Stanton and Liriano

I am pretty happy with this trade.

Re: Go Big or Go Small?

Actually the league is very deep in RP, each team could have 4 active, plus any SP/RP. But I have managed to be in 1st in saves using alot of borderline guys. Aardsma seems fairly stable right now, but that could change fast, so I may want to move him for the right offer. Not sure if Romero is the r...

Go Big or Go Small?

Was offered the following trade: Get: Reyes Konerko Carpenter Lind Carlos Santana Give: Howard Rollins Aardsma This all started with the other team wanting Contreras and we started discussing things. An alternative, simpler trade could be: Get: Romero or (maybe) Liriano Give: Aardsma He also has Pri...

Re: SAGNOF for SAGNOF

Thanks! I did both moves. Once Granderson returns I may want to make another move.

SAGNOF for SAGNOF

I was offered Bourn for Simon, other team has Adam Jones and Bourn both on the bench. Available on the free agent list are Maybin, Borbon and Fowler, so Bourn seems to be a borderline rosterable player in my league. Jones worth going for? Are Simon's days numbered, or should I ride him out to the en...

Re: middraft help appreciated

The online draft continues, and crazily enough Garza and Quentin who I were considering taking at the 10/11 round turn are both still there for me at the 12/13 turn. Gotta love it. Many thanks to Razzball for making this draft a success. Also people taking Nick Johnson in the 10th round helps too. ;)

Re: middraft help appreciated

Thanks! I went through with it, though I don't trust Aardsma too much. Last year I picked Jason Motte and ended up winning the league, so it isn't the end of the world. :) Love the Razzball!

middraft help appreciated

Its my pick at the turn of 10th/11th round and I am not confident about who to take. Available are: 2B: Uggla, Stewart other hitters: Quentin, Soriano, Rios, Ibanez SP: Garza, Weaver RP: Aardsma, F Cordero, Wagner, Fuentes, Franklin The league is in the middle of a closer run, and we need 3 or 4 rel...
