Ian Kennedy?

Kennedy has been rather frightening so far, but the injury to Wang all but assures him of a rotation spot. Is his value rising? Is he worth picking up?

Re: dustin mcgowan or guthrie?

Depends on the staff, if you need a potential star, you have to go McGowan. If you want safety, go the other way. But I think the fact they let him go all the way (CG) the other night tells me he's OK injury-wise. Go with Lambchop!

Encarncacion or Greene?

How produces more for the rest of the year: Encarnacion or Greene? Don't think of them as starters, and don't worry about position. Think of them solely as insurance policies who can contribute more often than not at MI, CI, or U.

Re: Keeper League Trade for Aramis

We only keep 5 players, so I could still keep: Hanley (3), Upton (17), Krispie (18), Carmona (19), Zumaya (22).

Keeper League Trade for Aramis

Well, I did my classic, "package the prospects to the guy in last" thing. In a 14-team keeper league:

I send: Soria (15th round), Price (22), and Headley (22)

I get: Aramis (3)

What say you?

Re: Street

Is Street being shopped?

I heard "yes" but he wasn't drawing any interest (MLB Trade Rumors).

Re: Raffy Soriano?

[After losing John Smoltz, the Braves had expected to turn to Soriano for saves, but the oft-injured pitcher is injured again, leaving them hoping that Mike Gonzalez will be back soon. It's not so much a setback as it seems that Soriano can't recover, making back-to-back days tough . . .. The Braves...

Re: Raffy Soriano?

Yeah, he's on the DL but he's expected to come off soon. I heard reports out of Atlanta that Gonzalez is being looked at as "the savior" after Smoltz went down. Soriano may be headed back to the DL, Acosta's not ready, Gonzalez used to be a full-time closer...

Raffy Soriano?

So Bobby Cox said that Soriana was not available yesterday because he had "lingering elbow soreness."

Time to move on Mike Gonzalez? I'm looking for a more long-term, stable source.
