Re: My keepers now seem to be set - advice needed on draft

I don't understand. Your initial post sounds like standard snake draft, and then later you give keeper prices which sounds like an auction league. What is going on here? Also, I think your projections for Tulo: 25-95-.290 ...are quite optimistic. He was quite bad last year before the injuries, as w...

Re: Ryan Braun

Frank I'm in the same boat and I'm pissed. Well he was one of my 8 keepers. Our draft is tomorrow...after that's done I am going to take the best offer I can for him, because this is not going to go away. This is going to linger all year and will hamper his hitting. Healthy he's good for 40 homers 1...

Re: Dammit Manny!

Now I have to deal with Braun's booboo. My 2 best keepers have the toughness of an 8 year old girl. Do these guys ever warm up and stretch before a game so they avoid these types of injuries? Have they tried this at all? Don't they have professional trainers? Am I missing something here? My team was...

This Hammy better not linger...or I'm a be pissed. He has 3 weeks to heal, I hope he doesn't get stupid with it.

I agree with Grey. It's almost pretty obvious whom you have to keep. With those 5 you you have a great base. You have a potential MVP candidate and Cy Young winner and a top closer. Can't go wrong.

Re: Victorino vs. Pelfrey

Remember Victorino is a free agent after this season so keep that in mind.

Re: Grey quick advice please. Trade question keeper for keeper.

I like Shane just basically because he's a free agent next year.

I know what I'm going to get with Manny...but McLouth, do you see him repeating or improving on last year Grey?

Re: Grey quick advice please. Trade question keeper for keeper.

It turns out now that if I trade Manny and his $26 salary, I get McLouth and his $7 salary and I can keep Victorino at $22 and I can keep the following 8 adhering to our $140 cap (it actually comes out to $140 exactly): Braun 38 Kemp 20 Upton 16 Gonzalez 25 Victorino 22 Bruce 8 McLouth 7 Doumit 4 I ...

Grey quick advice please. Trade question keeper for keeper.

I give Manny and his $26 salary for McLouth and his $7 salary. Plus I get his 4th for my 6th round pick. (we keep 8 so 56 players are gone).

With this deal I can drop Scherzer and his $1 salary and keep Delgado at $16.

Do you think Mclouth can repeat the run production he had last year?

Re: My keepers now seem to be set - advice needed on draft

Grim...we're in a snake draft yes, but every year we are allowed to keep 8 players on our squad. The salary cap is $140 and the salaries are direct from MLB.com's fantasy section. We keep players for a max of 4 years. The first 3 years his salary is the listed value of the first year kept and the 4t...
