Re: Drunk on upside?

Felix, Cain and C. Young at 15 are sexy picks. ESPECIALLY, C. Young at 15...if only he went that late in every draft. But I'm a softy for pitching ;)

Re: drafting against droolers on yahoo

I love public leagues if only for the fact that they allow me to stack a team and then at least have 1 winning team a year!

Catchers

Which catcher would you rather have in a 12 team draft, standard 5x5, taking into account ADP and the draft pick you'd have to burn to get them:

Iannetta;
Napoli;
Shoppach;
Teagarden; or
Clement?

Re: 6th keeper

I'd go with Hart as the second keeper. Although Mauer hits for nice average and will get you almost 100 runs assuming he stays healthy, he doesn't do anything else. I've never been big on keeping catchers, especially someone like Mauer who's had difficulty in the past staying healthy. I think that H...

Re: I hate picking keepers!

Yea, I was leaning in the same direction. After dwelling on the question for a few weeks, I finally decided I was probably going with Sparks over Rios and the wife recommended as much, then hit me when I reversed course and said "well Rios..." So I guess the moral of the story is: What Grey and Wife...

Re: Draft Strategies (12 team 5x5 H2h)

My strategy last year was 1-4 offense, R5 SP, 6-8 offense, 9 RP, 10SP, 11 & 12 offense, then mainly pitching from there, grabbing some dirty saves along the way. I want to try a new strategy this year in mock drafts, not sure if it will work but could be fun: 1-8 offense, filling out the starting li...

Re: top keepers for 2009

C'mon, Delmon Young rocks in leagues where "hitting the umpire" is a category! He's probably going into the Hall of Fame for that skill alone, to stand beside such greats as Robbie Alomar.
He eerily reminds me of Bubba Gump.

Re: Which 2 or 3 keepers?

McCann and Davis. Davis has great upside and out slug Atkins. McCann will produce Atkins numbers but at a shallower position. :D

I hate picking keepers!

I'd like some assistance with this one if you all don't mind. My team was rather stacked last year and now I am forced to keep only 3 of the following names: Mourneau Pedroia Markakis Rios Ichiro Big Papi League has standard stats + 2b + BBs. Positions are standard w/ 1 catcher, 2 util and 1 IF. I a...
