Re: shallow league.... which F to keep and in what order?

Offensive cats: G, A, P, +/-, PPP, GWG Bobby Ryan, Hemsky, Semin? Can any of these guys be expected to get to 60 points? Keep them in the order you have written here; Ryan, Hemsky, Semin. I don't think any can be counted on for 60 points but Ryan has the best chance of hitting that mark. I don't th...

Re: Trade offer

Sorry for the late reply here. You might be better off commenting on my most recent post for questions, I check that routinely but the boards are a bit slow, so I don't think to check here that often. I answer comment questions relatively quickly. That all being said, I really hope you didn't take t...

Re: Brock Nelson

Is he for real and worth a roster? He's having some early success with Ryan Strome, so I'd add him while he's hot. There's no track record to say it'll continue, but you can't deny the results right now. Strome is the real deal and he's good enough to elevate those around him. Also, Nelson is getti...

Re: Ales Hemsky

Should I drop Justin Williams for him? If you need more goals, stick with Williams. If you need more assists, and PPP pick up Hemsky. Williams is more durable than Hemsky though, so if you go with him expect to deal with some injury time. They'll both probably finish in the same ballpark o' points,...

Re: YOLO draft, rate my team

Eh, Visnovsky used to be a big producer but he's old and injury prone now. The Isles have a decent offense but I don't see Vis putting up much more than 30 points this year. That's about what you'll get from Leddy or Lindholm, but both of them have much higher upsides than Visnovsky.

Yeah, I'd still drop and add the guys I listed. Good luck this season!

Re: YOLO draft, rate my team

Hmn, can't say I'd endorse this draft strategy because it leaves you with a seriously weak defense and while defensemen aren't exactly the keys to winning, having a horrible defense can be one of the keys to losing. Without knowing what the league size, scoring and waiver wire settings here here's w...

Re: Trade offer

I wouldn't do it. The risk is too great given how poorly the contract talks are going with Ryan Johansen. James Neal is not going to be the same player he was on the Pens, either, so the other manager is looking to package a risky but huge upside guy in RyJo with a sell high in Neal to get you to pa...
