Re: Justin Upton

You guys are funny. He's had some nagging injuries with his hands/wrists. His numbers are down through 2 months, but there's no reason to think that with a little time to clear his head and relieve the daily pounding his hands have been taking he won't get healthier and find his rhythm as the summer...

Re: Players in the minors

The top guys that are likely to spend most of 2013 in the majors or just top 5 prospects overall? These ratings are for future fantasy value, so may look different than some top prospect lists. If for 2013, I'd go: - Wil Myers - Trevor Bauer - Nolan Arenado - Travis d'Arnaud - Taijuan Walker If the ...

Jordan Walden & Grant Balfour

Been holding onto both in hopes they regain the closer spot. I need roster space for another move, so I need to pick which one to cut ties with. I thought I remembered reading that Walden would possibly be put back into the closer's role once he got himself straightened out. If it was just Scott Dow...

Re: 5yr old Roto Keeper League w/MiLB rosters needs owners

Alright guys, I'm still looking for 2 more well-qualified owners. We're going to combine the open teams into one pool and have an expansion draft. For your convenience, I've made a quick list of players that will be available to build your team. $75 fee - $585 to 1st, $225 to 2nd and $90 to 3rd Some...

5yr old Roto Keeper League w/MiLB rosters needs owners

Gentlemen (and Lady(/ies?), I thought I'd come here and advertise some openings because this is probably the best place to find good and engaged owners. I just took over as Commish in a 5x5 Yahoo roto league with a few special rules, including 8-player MiLB rosters, "farm keeper" status for guys you...

Re: Staffords worth

Marshall is going to struggle. For evidence - Steve Smiff sucked the last 2 years. Last year, Matt Moore was his QB for part of the year. He couldn't get the ball to him effectively, and Smiff's numbers suffered. We know that Smiff is still a good WR, so obviously the QB has a huge effect. I wouldn'...

Re: Benson for Hasselbeck?

Are you in a 6-team league? Rice, McCoy, McFadden and VJax were all off the board in the top 24 picks this year, so either your league is tiny or the other owners are so clueless that you don't even need to be in a forum asking for advice. Anyway, in a 2 QB league, I think that trade makes sense. Yo...

Re: Which Side?

You dominate. Bowe is only marginally better than Rice and Foster is leagues ahead of Best. I have Best and I bet I couldn't trade him and Bowe for Foster alone, let alone getting a nice piece like Rice as well.

Re: Give up the Gronk?

Gronk is a beast and its no fluke. The Pats score with ease and he's the #1 red zone target. Dallas Clark is probably around the 10th best TE at this point. Not to mention that Nelson is in the same neighborhood as Williams, if not better (TB has been spreading the ball to Benn, Parker, Winslow, Gra...
