Re: Hunter Pence

Yes. Yes he is.

Dunn last night: 0-4, 3 k's. Yuck.

Hunter Pence last night: 0-3, 2 k's. Yuck.

This is starting to backfire now.

Why does Hunter Pence strike out so much?

Re: Hunter Pence

Hey can you complain about him not getting steals again? I need a couple more. Thanks!

Black Friday???

So tomorrow I have the following 3 starters:

Gio Gonzalez @ Texas
Jeremy Hellickson @ NYY
Brandon Beachy @ Philly

That has the potential to get pretty ugly, huh?

Re: I hate Mike Napoli

Yeah, but I picked up J.P. Arencibia for him so I don't feel too bad.

I hate Mike Napoli

Catcher Advice

I have Mike Napoli in a standard Yahoo 8-team league (stat categories are R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA and WHIP). Since there are only 8 teams playing, and since it is a pitching-heavy league, there are a lot of good offensive players out there. I am nearing the end of my rope with Mike Napoli...

Mr. Polanco

Re: Five Keepers

Ended up keeping Howard, Kemp and Crawford and also Lincecum and Waiwright. First round of the draft got Josh Johnson back so I am pleased with my team.

Re: Pick Three Keepers

Crawford and Upton for sure. Personally, I'd rather have C.C. (or is it CC, sans periods?) than anyone else on your roster, so he'd be my third keeper. He's the No. 1 starter for the Yankees. They score a lot of runs so he'll get you a lot of wins, not to mention the strike outs. He's still pretty y...

Re: Pick 7 Keepers

Josh Johnson is definitely your best pitcher now, so if you want to keep a pitcher, then he's the one. I've read some rave reviews about MadBum, so he might be worth looking in to as a keeper. But that's probably more of a long-range investment/short term gamble because he might not pay out for anot...
